How can I prepare for my black background session?
Can you photoshop out...?
How do session fees work?
What happens if the session doesn't go to plan?
Do I have to order prints through you?
Your horse should be clean and tidy (mane pulled/hooves painted). Braids always look smart but are not required. Tack should be clean and barn aisle should be free of clutter.
While I am happy to photoshop out small blemishes and the odd stubborn stain, there is a limit to what I am willing to do in the scope of a normal session. (ex, I can remove a leadrope, but I cannot unclip your horse)
Your session fee pays for my time and services on the day of the shoot, a curated online gallery of edited images, and a selection of high-resolution images (varies by shoot)
As a fellow horsewoman, I have a lot of patience and understanding that animals don't always comply with our demands. On the occasion that the session is not going well, you can rest assured that I have captured lots of beautiful moments in between the naughty ones. If a horse is being truly dangerous or something unpredictable happens outside of our control I may offer a reshoot.
At this time, no. I do however recommend specific printing labs to use for printmaking. Outside of these labs, I cannot guarantee quality control. I am happy to assist any client in ordering prints, canvases, or art pieces.
